God restores. His people, who grumbled, complained, and strayed, end up doing what they are asked.
God remains faithful. Even though he was angry about the golden calf, angry enough to tell Moses that he would wipe them out and start over with a new Mosesite nation, he lets these same people build him a dwelling place so he can be with them and show them that he is their God.
